Promoting Sports for Underprivileged Children at Strand Tennis Club
South Africa is a sports-loving nation, but many less privileged children are denied the opportunity to play. With physical education being removed from many public school curriculums, access to sports has become increasingly limited for children in disadvantaged communities.
At Strand Tennis Club, we are committed to addressing this issue. Our "Anyone for Tennis?" initiative provides weekly tennis coaching to a large number of underprivileged children in the community. Led by experienced coaches, this program is fully funded through private donations and fundraising events at the club.
